Day 1: Arrive in Bari

Welcome to Bari! Make your own way to your hotel, then enjoy your first day exploring the city at your own leisure. Overnight stay in Bari.

Day 2: Bari

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide at the hotel to begin a delightful walking tour. Bari is home to the Basilica of San Nicola, a remarkable example of Apulian Romanesque architecture and one of the most important places of worship in the world, where Catholic and Orthodox traditions come together.  Continue to Bari “Vecchia,” the old town, full of authentic charm, where time seems to stand still: women sitting outside their homes preparing traditional orecchiette pasta, children playing in the streets, laundry drying in the sun, and the warm, welcoming spirit of Bari’s inhabitants. And of course, there is the famous focaccia barese—its irresistible aroma is impossible to ignore. Don’t worry, you’ll have the chance to taste it! The rest of the day is at your leisure. Day 3: Depart Bari

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and make your way to the airport or onward to your next Italian destination. (B)
